Honestly, as long as there is still a community even if it's a small one, I think it's better if Deepfakes is more off the radar for now, the technology is still in it's early stages. Better to let it develop in terms of user friendliness and efficiency away from prying (censoring) eyes. The voat community isn't as big as reddit was but it looks like we have everything we need here if the guy who is making myfakeapp keeps working on it or the fakeapp dev makes his project a bit more transparent. I wouldn't be surprised if other people start entering the space too once the heat dies down, people are always getting offended about something, it won't be long until most of the attention is elsewhere as long as people from here aren't actively going out of their way to flaunt what they are doing aside from places that are specifically based around the content instead of for example sending a celeb a deepfake they made.
People need to think about the long game. With VR, AR, densepose and lyrebird and some other projects coming along you're going to be able to simulate pretty much anything you want soon. This stuff isn't ready for prime time yet anyways as I stated. I would just be happy with what you got.
