I carry a single stack just like this for CC sometimes. The downside is that it can get pretty heavy but yes it does have an extremely thin profile because I only ever put slim wood grips on my 1911s. The slimmer grip just fits my hands better and I can drive nails with these things.

It can often be in that range but try to find your parts elsewhere like brownells. It’s not cheap to build your own 1911 from 80%.

but at least youre carrying. I alternate between a Taurus G2 9mm and a Sig P320C .45. Depending on the weather and what I'm wearing. I'm in Florida. I'm looking at a Kahr cw9 and a Ruger edc9 or LCPII for deep carry at work.
