Alrighty, here's what I'm working with.
This is the Fuse from the outside panel
and
here's a look at the capacitor
If I were any kind of electrician (which I'm not), I'd say that fuse looks worse for wear.

You'd be correct, that fuse is toast.

Lol turns out that is not a fuse, I believe this is a circuit breaker

That's an odd looking fuse. Though that's most likely your issue and much cheaper to replace.
To be clear when I talked about fuses I was meaning to check your fuse box and make sure your fuse in the fuse box for the AC wasn't accidentally tripped in a power surge. I'm guessing it wasn't or else you would find other plug ins and things not working as well. Unless your fuse box only has the one fuse for the outside AC.
So i would start with the simple thing like replacing that fuse you showed and see if that fixes it. Because if you call anyone they will tell you exactly the same things I did:
Check to make sure your fuse box wasn't accidentally tripped.
Check to make sure you didn't accidentally turn down your AC
Check/Replace your fuse on your AC unit (that you just showed)
Replace Capacitor.
Good luck mate, I don't think it's too difficult. Just becareful checking your fuse box in your house. You will know if one of them is tripped because it will clearly be in the off position.
