It doesn't matter what it looks like. Well, speaking purely aesthetically. It makes exactly zero fucks.
I'm wondering if this is one of those things that is a lost art. It is easy to make decent looking, good fitting gaskets with a ball peen hammer. Just lay the material on the surface and gently tap around all the edges and holes. Dirt fucking simple.

On a small engine carb you may not be able to do that but agree that there are numerous other ways to make a gasket before CAD.

Use liquid gasket or use xacto. Just take impression on gasket by pressing into place, cut.
