The Intercept is a great place to find bias news. One of many.
I came across this article entitled:
Trump’s New Billionaire Backer Also Funds Huge Stockpile of Human Urine
Curious. Time to read it.
The backer is Robert Mercer, a co-CEO of a hedge fund called Renaissance Technologies. Mercer gave $10 million to Ted Cruz, while he was running, and now gave $2 million to a PAC in support of Trump.
Now that the facts are out of the way, the author shall being the poo slinging.
But here’s what the mainstream media won't tell you:
Oh my! The MSM missed out on some big news I guess, what is it what is it?!?
Robert Mercer and his daughter have also funded a gigantic stockpile of human urine in Oregon.
...Oh... So, like, do they have this stockpile in their house, do they bathe in it or something?
The urine stockpile is the project of Arthur Robinson, a chemist and founder of the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine . . . Robinson is collecting it in order to “calibrate analytical procedures that can revolutionize the evaluation of personal chemistry — and thereby improve our health, our happiness and prosperity . . . ”
Wait, so this guy is just funding a research project in hopes to better our lives? How is this a bad thing? Ohhh, it's because when you read the headline it makes him sound like a real creep. Gootcha.
Just more misleading BS to try and smear Trump. Look, I don't agree with Trump on everything, and I'm still on the fence about voting for him (sadly, the other options are getting worse as the days go on. I wanted to like you Gary), but, regardless of who it's against, I can't stand misleading news articles that do nothing but muddy the intellectual waters and serve to mislead the public.
Just report the news, stop jerking yourself off (EVERY news outlet, conservative, liberal, libertarian, does this in some way at some time. Some are just worse than others.)
TL;DR: The backer Robert Mercer has been funding a research project using analysis of human urine to try and better human life, he's not drinking the stuff or something weird. Just another smear campaign with a misleading title.
