People are able to do such things, but the government makes the process as unpleasant as possible. They would no doubt drag their feet for as long as possible, probably years, and then charge you outrageous fees per page, and it could be thousands of pages. If someone out there has the funds to support this sort of effort, I really hope they get going. This GMO mosquito shit is freakin retarded.

Edit: Spray those little bastards with DDT and get it over with already!!!!!

Would the FDA even be the right group? I mean, I know it's a medical thing. But it's not a procedure, or drug or device. They released a modified living thing into the environment. That seems an EPA kinda thing to me.

FDA is the right group IMO. A GMO mosquito is technically speaking a drug as it will come in contact with humans and will impact their health in some way or another.
