I am really not convinced that GMOs are inherently bad, and I never will be. I know enough about genetics/genomics/microbiology to know that the only way that GMO foods can be bad would be corporate influence and corporate influence only.

Too bad every single gmo has cancer causing glyphosates in the plant itself.

Well, that's just it, isn't it? GMO crops aren't the problem, the additives are. If I could make a strawberry yield that was 20x the size of a normal one by changing some gene expression here and there, you bet I would. Pesticides and Monsanto products are what you should look out for, not GMO, necessarily.

Look at the Chiquita, or 'modern', Banana. That never existed in nature, as natural bananas have marble sized seeds in them. Now, this type of banana is putting its progenitor out of business.

I don't want pesticides in my food, either, but you have to understand that ALL PRODUCE, whether you like it or not, is GMO. It's been done for nearly a thousand years now.

ding ding ding this is the correct answer. I dare someone to find an organism that isn't genetically modified through natural means or artificial selection.
