Honestly, part of it may just be people getting pissed off about the spammy type of replies of people going "HURR DURR MONSTANTO". I'm not saying that it's good, I'm just saying that reddit probably hasn't made a profit off Monsanto yet enough to do these bannings. I've talked about Monsanto on other subs as well, and it's never been an issue.

Never attribute to malice what could be explained by stupidity (or mods/admins getting sick of spamminess)

Reddit doesn't have to receive "profits" to censor. Reddit is fully regulated by shills, gov rogues and lobbyists. In order for a post to be deleted, it does not have to come from the top at Reddit Corp. It can simply be a rogue mod (paid by monsanto, not affiliated with reddit) pushing an agenda.

A rogue mod can't shadow ban. That would have to come from a Admin

What bothers me about this is it was a shadowban, not a ban from the subreddit. If the mods had banned him for "spamming" or "derailing the conversation", it would be evidence of stupid modding. Since it is a shadowban, it seems as though reddit is silencing certain anti-corp. comments in the default subs.
