I think this is the only thing brought up by this other individual that I agree with, I would like to see Voat implement a site wide system that allows for moderation transparency, similar to undelete/uncensorship.

Atko said that they have plans for a public log of all moderator action. Obviously it isn't live yet but when it is I think we'll see a stark change in how subs are moderated and how the contributors can respond to that. Without being able to shadowban or moderate in secret moderators will be held to a standard that they weren't at reddit, and that means only good things for the future.

I second this. We can't 100% prevent rot but we sure can slow it down a lot. Transparency is one of those things that slow it down.

Yeah I'm with transparency running the ship, with a possibility of explanation for why it was deleted and maybe just censoring banned photos but keeping the post and have a flag on it in the post or send to v/undeletesubvoatamajigy
