He's an actor. His purpose regarding AI is to introduce actual transhumanism to the masses. His rambling about how dangerous AI is last year was Machiavellian programming to convince people to drop their defenses for when (((he)))introduces the brain chip.
I'm very intrigued, but no thank you. Like others said before me, it has too much potential for abuse. I wouldn't even trust a back alley chop-shop to install bootleg version of it - instead of being enslaved by governments or corporations, you'd be enslaved by criminals.
Hopefully, we'll manage to create check and balances to prevent the worst of the abuse, but that's for the next generation.
For safety's sake, I'll have to abandon any plans of improving upon my frail human body.

BCI could be pretty cool, but IDK how you could ever trust it. First thing I would want to know is how can it be abused. Do you have to wear a lead yarmulke for the rest of your life as protection?
What does a 'bug' look like? Temporary/Permanent Epilepsy? Grand Mal Seizure? Maybe you just lose access to an optic nerve for a bit. Maybe you forget ________.

Wonder if they can remotely make people dance around like monkeys? Program to be assassins? This could have endless possibilities.
