I can't help but, think nothing will come of this.

We knew without a shadow of doubt it was happening before these leaks and yet we stood by and let it happen. Now that we have proof of our suspicions we will do nothing except see I told you I was right and that will be the end of it. And tomorrow they go right back to doing what they do.

Apathy killed the republic.

It was known about much earlier than the leaks. Gawker of all people broke the story of DNC/MSM shilling in February.

Just because traditional journalism is dead doesn't mean journalism is dead. It has changed. It is internet-based. It is anonymous. It comes in the form of wikileaks, etc... It was well-known for awhile that traditional journalism was dying. The internet killed it. They weren't making money anymore. To survive, they've switched to pandering to specific audiences to achieve ratings and sell ad space.

Edit: and the people working for the big, bought-out, corporate news giants are just trying to make a living, so they do what they're told, and the people in charge have lost all journalistic integrity and gladly push the agenda of things they like instead of being impartial.

How far down that list do you have to go before you can find anything conservative neutral.

The top 10 Google, Facebook, Twitter.. all very anti-conservative.

The truth is out there sure no doubt about it but you have to search for it and it takes time, time that most people would rather spend doing other things.

Let's face it when there's a news worthy event happening people don't go to some normally honest obscure website, they turn on cnn, fox, or another major network that their parents taught them to trust. It will be that way for the foreseeable future because half truths and comfortable lies are easy and quick. Truth is hard and unforgiving and often times unpleasant.
