since the earth bulges at the equator doesn't it make sense that the poles would have a thinner crust and therefore more geothermal heat? I thought that's why northern countries like Canada, Russia and the Scandinavian countries Including Greenland and Iceland made such great places to use Geothermal energy sources.

Geothermal works best where you have a hot spot in the crust - usually near fault lines. Has nothing to do with equatorial bulging.
