Though I do love my Gould, I feel Barenboim does the piece incredible justice. I have heard the Zenph version, and it's eerily perfect. I'm still not entirely sure whether I should be overjoyed or upset with the technology, though I'm leaning towards the former. I hope they do the same for the 1981 recording in the future, I think I'm one of the minority who prefers it over the 1955.

The Zenph will never perfectly recreate a Gould piece for me, unless they do the same sort of this for his voice. His humming adds a very unique and personal touch to his recordings, and is what I love about them.
