First off this comment seems less edgy to me which is nice and im grateful for it. What i think you are struggling with is called common grace. The bible teaches that all good comes from God, not necessarily through christians though. God puts goodness in non believers too to mold the world as he sees fit, to the benefit of believers as a whole and i think humanity as a whole. So yes non christians and christians both can be good but what must be realized is how it is a realitive good, and the best humans are not nearly good enough to make it to heaven or into Gods presence on our own merit. Thats why Jesus suffered for our sins and died for us. He died for all the bad that believers have so that we may join him in heaven and enjoy the goodness that is God, which we cant even conceptualize.
The three people you spoke of may look the same in this world but only one of them goes to heaven because while non of them belong of their own merit, one of them had their sins atoned for.
I would say to see the evil inherent in mankind, i would analyze the evil of your own thoughts or the actions of young children. Children are rarely taught evil by their parents but they often have to train it out of them.
Hopefully this all made sense i am on my phone and accidentally deleted it once so my thoughts are a tad jumbled.
