Former Redditor from /r/Catholicism. I left Reddit because it is predominately liberal even when it comes to Catholicism and Prolife. I found I got up votes for my posts but Democrat Catholics were completely appalled and let me know in the comments section. I am by no means close to being a 'great' Catholic but I do stand up for long held tradition. That position is now slandered as bigoted, non-inclusive, phobic, hurtful. Jesus said it, they will hate you because of me.
I believe the OP is correct to stay there. I just don't have the will to apply medicine to the dead.
