That's a pretty good skill to learn. Being able to adapt to new... anything really, is a useful thing.

It's sort of a shame that Korean is my only second language. If I only had some alphabet-based language, I could conduct experiments on to see which method of learning typing is most effective.

When I was stationed in ROK as a soldier one of the KATUSAs (Korean Augment to the US Army) had a typing tutor. I was very bored so I wanted to try it out. I do not know the Korean language nor can I site the alphabet. After awhile I had begun to comfortable find the characters and type normally but for some very rudimentary phrases. I wanted to challenge the Korean soldier at typing just for fun. He, of course, won.
