And what would a "free trade" deal with China mean?
If it's anything like the US trade with China, it means that China pegs its currency low to give themselves a major advantage. That the Chinese won't buy Canadian products. That Chinese company will steal whatever trade secrets Canadian companies have. That the Chinese will have more access to our resources and basically send their own companies over to pillage them. That the Chinese will own even more Canadian property.
I don't see any good coming of this. "Free Trade" has meant nothing but job insecurity and a declining standard of living for nearly all Canadians.

Generally I agree with your concerns, a huge economy such as China's (or America's) is bound to see the lions share of the benefit of such and agreement.
It's unfortunate that a reasonable comment would get a downvoated - have an upvoat to at least get you even with the board.
