To put this in perspective, they are laying off people that work at CNN Money, video, social media, etc.

This isn't a sign of them failing, it's a sign that their presence has reached the point where bots, followers, and re-tweets are financially more effective than paying wages for professionals in those fields. Instead of multi-thousand dollar employees, they get the same results for pennies. They are streamlining the deception through cheaper methods, not giving up the fight. Watch this one closely.
