IT SEEMS MORE THAN EVER: Lots of "studies" trying to support the outcome switching PACE Trial are using bogus questionnaires that say they are for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) but are really Chronic Fatigue (CF) questionnaires. Or they use Oxford criteria (a mental health criteria rather than CFS with no Post-exertional malaise - PEM option and almost no way to rule out depression which causes CF) or Fukuda criteria not using the necessary PEM "option".

Plus, no one bothers to get a Dx from a doctor first before they go into these wonky studies so the person with a thyroid problem (causes CF) or kid with diabetes (causes CF) IS IN A CFS STUDY!

CDC/Fukuda w/o PEM "option" is a CF study. I am more than certain from Australia - case in point: A new case definition of Neuro-Inflammatory and Oxidative Fatigue (NIOF). REMEMBER - Depression causes CF and if you don't use PEM option in FUKUDA, you have CF possibly due to depression.

Studies MUST include Post-exertional Malaise Post-infectious.

When you see an article, blog, or tv media use the term Chronic Fatigue when they should have stated Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, e-mail or call the editor or writer or tv program. You can copy and paste the above if you wish.
