In all seriousness this article shows that while recruiting rankings obviously have some correlation to winning, they aren't the alpha and omega of why teams perform like they do. Teams like Missouri and TCU don't have the national sexiness that lets teams like Bama become 5* magnets, but they're great at evaluation and development.
The author makes another great point when he talks about stability. While obviously if your coach is winning a ton of games you aren't going to fire him, sometimes programs get an itchy trigger finger when a coach doesn't have immediate success and never really give him a chance.
