I recently had to ban someone for multiple violations of Rule #3. I don't intend for it to be a permanent ban, and will review it in a week or two (assuming I remember; if I forget, the individual in question is more than welcome to reach out to me).
Banning isn't something I particularly enjoy doing. Not counting obvious link-spammers, I've only ever banned one other person in my year-long history of being a mod on Voat. That being said, I don't and won't lose sleep over it.
I understand that people have different standards for fitness and attractiveness, and that's cool. But posts in the vein of "fatty that" and "nigger this" should be kept to /v/fatpeoplehate, /v/niggers or /v/coontown respectively. They love that kind of shit over there, and you won't even get banned for it. Feel free to even x-post content to those subverses if you feel the need.
Now, that being said, understand that when I delete one of your comments, it's not a punishment. It doesn't mean I hate you. It doesn't mean I think your political opinion is wrong (chances are I could care less). It means I think the comment detracts from the conversation rather than adding to it. That's all. You don't need to step on eggshells when commenting or anything-- just try to be relatively respectful, and try not to be too much of a cunt. That's the golden rule, really.
I now return you to your regularly scheduled masturbation cosplay appreciation material.
EDIT: Ban was lifted.

Haha, sorry. I'm still pretty active on both sites.
