12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many. - 1 Cor 12:12-14 (KJV)
This verse is comparing the spiritual body of Christ with the physical body of a human, and is a marvelous comparison. As the human body has many members, so has the spiritual body of Christ. Each member of the body (both human and of Christ), has a particular function (Romans 12:4), and is very important to the proper working of the entire body. This shows that all, that have been born again, are important to the body of Christ (the church), and must function together for the body to work properly (1 Corinthians 12:25-26).
This baptism is not talking about water baptism, but is saying that we, who are born again, are placed in (or made part of) the spiritual body of Christ (Romans 12:5). It doesn’t matter if we are male or female, rich or poor, different races, or our station in life, we are all of the same body of Christ, and God does not see anyone of us different than another (Acts 10:34). We are all important to the body of Christ, and have His Spirit within us (Galatians 4:6).
All born again Christians, should realize that they are so very important to the proper function of the body of Christ (the church), and no matter what your calling is, it is important to make the body work properly. It takes every member of the church, doing what they are called to do, to make the church work properly, and therefore enable the Spirit of Christ to be successful here on the earth (Ephesians 4:16). Serve our Savior with all your heart in whatever He calls you to do, and let us bring Glory to God, and save as many as we can, while we have time to do so (Mark 16:15). Praise God for giving us a calling and the ability to serve Him!

For you now are a part of the body of Christ, and a member in particular. (1 Cor 12:27) I believe that's a more literal translation from the Greek than some versions. This devotional leads right up to my favorite verse. Awesome!
The issue I take with this particular devotional, however, is that is presumes to know how God treats individuals within the body (without discernment between them according to the parenthetical reference to Acts 10:34). When in fact is does not say that God does not see us different from each other. In fact, by saying that, you've missed the crux of what I find to be the most important part of 1Cor 12... You're not a snowflake, one of trillions only slightly nuanced... Nope, you're a vital organ, or organelle if you want to account for greater numbers... You're not special, you're not better than anyone else. You are loved more than anything by the creator of everything.
Another recent favorite of mine is Psalms 107. :)

Yes it fucking does matter. This is why I hate Christcucks. It has Civic Nationalism built in, and all you cucks want to do is virtue signal about what good people you are.
