Well I'm currently in Australia but I'm from Waterford, Ireland and the Metalman brewery in Dungarvan is pretty decent. I lived in Dublin for a while though and I love Guinness if that counts :)

Of course Guinness counts! Not everyone's favorite brewery is a craft brewery.

That being said, any good craft beer you've tried down in Australia?

Well not really to be honest, but I haven't gone looking yet. I've not been here for that long and I'm more of a pothead than a drinker, but I'll be sure to keep you posted in this sub if when I do get around to seeking some out!

I'm from San Francisco and am particular to Anchor Steam -- their IPA is yum. Their winter ale really hits home, too.

That's awesome, I'm actually out in SF a lot for work. Anchor Steam is always a good choice. I've also really been loving everything I've had from Almanac Beer Co. If you haven't tried any of their beer I highly recommend you do. Not a brewery, but I always make an effort to stop into the bar Toronado when I'm out there. One of my favorite beer bars on the planet.

Thanks for that suggestion, I've never been to Toronado.... looks to be a beer haven. I've definitely never heard of a bar having Pliny the Elder on draft!

I have family that work for Anchor Brewing and I do like their IPA, Breckles Brown, Christmas Ale, and Summer Beer (so drinkable). I feel like their flagship, Anchor Steam, is only so-so.

Ithaca Beer Co. is pretty good, but I'll extend my reach and say Three Heads and Southern Tier are my favorites in the state.

Ithaca Beer is definitely very good. Flower Power is one of my main go-to beers. Also just tried the Java Power which was pretty cool. I've definitely had a bunch of Southern Tier but can't say I'm too familiar with Three Heads. Any highly recommended beers from them?

Austin, TX - Jester King for unique farmhouse styles and Black Star, a local brewing co-op for their 'dockhand' series

Jester King is ridiculously good. My friend Jeppe who owns Evil Twin and a local bar by me, Tørst, just did a collab with them called Worlds Worst Twin (his twin is Mikkel from Mikkeller). Beer was definitely pretty interesting but I can't say I'd drink too much of it - there was a lot going on, maybe too much. Just about anything else Jester King puts out though is A+.

A lot of stuff Jester King puts out isn't really to my taste but I love that they are doing something different - embracing the environment where they brew. On a tour of their brewery they'll tell you they make beer because they love beer. They drink the good stuff themselves, dump the bad stuff, and sell whatever they can't drink. Kind of crazy from a business perspective but it's definitely working for them.

Edit - typos

From Halifax, NS and Alexander Keith's used to be brewed exclusively there. Now it isn't brewed there at all. I'd say that Garrison Brewery in DT Halifax is probably my favourite local brewery. It'd be awesome to travel around and go to as many different breweries as I could.

Toolbox Brewing in San Diego is AWESOME. They clearly love crafting unique beer and they change it up enough that its always fun to try whats new. Also, the 7% plus content doesnt hurt

Out in the middle of no where in Oklahoma, love me some COOP Native Amber.

You may be in bumblefuck Oklahoma, but you have one of the best new breweries in your state! Prarie Artisan Ales is in Tulsa and is easily one of my favorite new breweries on the planet. If you like sours and farmhouse ales I highly recommend you check them out. The owner, Chase Healey, is definitely a really cool guy too

I'll definitely have to try this COOP Ale Works though. Not sure they distribute here in NY

I don't know if they distribute or not that far up north but I've had Prairie and was pleased.

Southern Ontario Canada. I love Steamwhistle and Muskoka breweries. Dont know if theyre distributed purely "locally" but they definitely close to home.

Also, youre on top of /all now, so there might be a few more than 33!
