Client confidentiality is the principle that an institution or individual should not reveal information about their clients to a third party without the consent of the client or a clear legal reason. This concept is commonly provided for in law in most countries.

It's impossible to maintain client confidentiality without privacy. And what about during a private exam, when the door is closed?

An invasion of privacy is a loss of trust.

It's a slippery slope and the hospital environment is mostly outside the control of the patient.
