Yeah, you should pretty much never run out of ammo.

Spend some mornings doing dedicated practice. The most you should need is a good strap and knowing how to lock your rifle in place. From there, it's just discipline and practice. You can put 1,000 rounds down range and it won't even cost you the price of a nice dinner, just the time to do it.

good strap

i made a wonderful sling with webbing and d rings

locks down tight

plus i do kneeling or sitting whenever i can

and im gonna start stocking up bigtime on ammo

last time i went shooting i was out there for hours just pinging on my plate

its gonna get even worse too

im about to buy a resetting target

You do have private property to shoot on, yes?
