Seeing as @PuttItOut didn't transfer v/Motorsports to me in a timely manner AND you goddamned slackers didn't make an automotive community for me, I'm going to do the damned work myself.
Seriously, you're all a bunch of damned slackers!
At some point, we're going to have a weekly automotive thread - but I'm reluctant to pick a day of the week.
Either way, respond if you want to help. I do not really have time to do all this consistently. Like in v/Guitar, I absolutely will need to delegate. So, if you want to offer assistance now is a good time to do so.
What can you put here? Well, I'm not a big fan of deleting stuff, so you can probably post anything you damned well please. It'd be nice if it had to do with automobiles. I'd like to think others will step up to moderate, so they might delete off-topic stuff. I'm too apathetic to care.

Entirely mechanical is great, but I wouldn't want one for a daily driver when there's greater reliability and performance to be had.
An old diesel might be appealing to you.

Ya, you previously mentioned a Mercedes sedan. That was one of the things I was just looking for, too!

The price for good conditioned ones is kinda high right now. People are collecting them. Wait a few years and it's likely to drop for a decade or so, until they start approaching 50 years of age.
