If you think there’s a pay gap now, I can’t wait to see what happens when they try to go toe to toe with piece workers in construction. It won’t be pretty.

Plenty of opportunities for females in the stonemason industry making kitchen benchtops. I also heard that garbos are an even more exclusive 'mens club' than the construction industry.
The best solution to get higher female participation in the tough jobs is to take away special welfare for females (including removing bias from the family court). Countries with high female participation have generally taken away the easy mode option from females.

the best way is public childcare so women can work without being tied up as the default home carer.
