Ah, was a bit worried about this for a moment. Thinking that they'd successful bred a new generation of kids who had drunk the koolaid on "them bad bad whistleblowers".
But it was a demonstration of Australia's creepy cybersecurity laws allowing easy tracking of anybody by using metadata, but in this case they were able to reveal a false (for the purpose of the test) whistleblower and track him to his home.

This is excellent. I wish they'd do something similar in the US so students could get a feeling about the types of data being mined online. This is the first time I've heard of anyone teaching them about what is surely to be more pervasive in their futures.
