Tiny Tales

Queue the data

Wow... Booting up ye old entain system. I look down at the time on my antique watch, entain System message, (spoken) - "Please present your intellect and knowledge class holident credentials." I think to myself "no problem" then think the thought that stores my holident statistics, and as quick as that though itself, the entain system came to life placing me in my 360* virtual workspace environment via direct retinal laser imaging. Looking to the left over at my reminder index, I focus, zooming the information and decided to finish and send some important statistics to a colleague, meant for one of our most active clients. I complete the required work and proceed to send the work info to Hendrix, probably just in time as well. Otherwise, if she didn't realize, she could get the final stats wrong on the harvest report. "Not good" I think to myself.

System message, (spoken) "upload transfure starting" System message, (spoken) "Peace services has placed you in a queue to confirm the free data subset status of your upload transfer". System message, (spoken) "Before we can approve this data transfer, your data will be passed through the Quantum Spectral Improbability Flux Algorithm, to determine your data class and free data subset status, wherein a sub-patent copy will be extracted and logged for possible future use by the peace services. By clicking OK you are hereby accepting all terms and conditions set by the Social Justis System. Please choose an action and stand by for further authentication measures if required..."

I do understand that certain information should be kept as amusing ideas bounced around in your head using only ones inner monologue and never confessed to another soul, for fear of it becoming reality as a result of such information getting into the wild. Sort of censoring, I know, regardless though, for me it has been enough times that I've realized that banked new Information can be used to make people laugh, cry, informed but mostly oblivious, whereas cranked/reported new information can achieve all the same with the added possibility of miss use.

In saying that. If they are going ahead with this war on information. There should be clear and defined information to outline the possible risks of learning certain information or taking up involved careers(which could be interpreted as a risk unto itself, with people capable of understanding whats not there by studying the stuff that is there).

Also, how crazy does it have to get in order to create a secure enough system where only particular types of knowledge can be transmitted or moved in or out of the country without red flags going up, I mean, have you seen the Great Australian Bight lately and how big it is, and how easy it would be for somebody who created an miniature, solar powered, autonomous, low flying, gps navigated, drone or drones(for better odds), to launch from the middle of nowhere all with tiny 256GB microSD payloads with whatever information for what ever destination.

Also, lets face it, if somebody was deep into encryption and managed to remain unnoticed, they could probably just as easy wield their magic to keep staying unnoticed whilst doing whatever it is they shouldn't, you'd think.

peace...

Edit: sorry crew I was drunk at the time.

Thanks @jambo, Its something I can only do on my good days.

you should think about writing scifi/speculative fiction on the side.

I do keep everything and hope one day to do something with it, at the moment tho I don't have the time.

Thanks again,

peace...
