How DARE people say what they want wherever they want! No free speech allowed! Only people who agree with everything I like are allowed to speak!

I love free speech, and I will use my right to it to say that racists are really annoying. I hate that I will get down voted for saying something that isn't even that controversial. Like, god forbid I support a woman's right issue, if I do I MUST be a sjw.

Supporting women's issues doesn't make you an SJW. I support women having every right and opportunity that men have. The same goes for minorities vs. whites. What makes an SJW is when posting facts that contradict their claims makes you a sexist pig, or a racist, or both.

The line between "THIS obviously terrible thing should be banned" and "THAT obviously NOT terrible thing should be banned" is very thin. First you ban racists, then you ban people making race jokes, then you ban people who discuss race issues, so on and so forth until you are reddit and your site is a hug box.

SPEECH YOU DONT AGREE WITH HAVING THE RIGHT TO EXIST IS A REQUIREMENT OF FREE SPEECH.

Why do so many Voaters equate opposition to racism with opposition to free speech?

I can only guess that those Voaters are people who fear their right to be as racist as they want to whoever they want is in danger. They don't seem to realise that the right to free speech doesn't include the right to be listened to.

Because racists are the first to be targeted in the recent war on free speech. If you want to defend it, you must defend the people that society wants to silence the most.

That's one of the few things I dislike about Voat recently.

wow, you white supremacists really like to make up oppression huh? OP didn't even come close to suggesting censorship, just pointing out that there are a lot of racists commenting everywhere. At least /v/all has quieted down, after the /r/coontown ban at least half of /v/all was either racist shit or FPH
