One wedding I was invited to noted on the invitation something to the effect of :
Envelope gifts preferred (might have been Envelope gifts appreciated).

Business cards would be tacky. I'm sure you could find a discreet way to include it in a "Save-the-date", I'd think a place like pinterest would be a goldmine for ideas like that.
Also, remember that it's wedding gifts and not marriage presents. The gift is in exchange for the party, you're not just entitled to cash dollas from your friends and families because you found "the one". If you are going to be asking for money from your friends, don't cheap out with a cash bar.

Yeah I found a poem online in a "wedding wire" comment section where someone else asked the same question. The poem goes,
Soon you will hear our wedding bells As friends and family wish us well Our household thoughts are not brand new We have twice the things we need for two Since we have our share of dishes and bedding We’re having instead a wishing well wedding!
Then perhaps my Gofundme info on the back?!? What do you all think?

I think you're about to alienate a lot of people. Regardless of what I think about it. Most people aren't going to like the idea of you asking for money.

I see this from her side of the family. I'm definitely worried about it. I guess it's pretty common for my Mexican side though. I forget what they call it but basically it's like asking them to pay for their invitation. Even that's a little too crass for my liking though.
