Theyre not idiots. If im gonna go thru college and not have a job after anyway id rather my major be something applicable to the world (psychology, sogiology, poli sci etc.), instead of something like chemical engineering or accounting or math where they dont have much use outside of the job field (math maybe but beyond simple math theres not much application in day to day life)

He got taught how to add and subtract. Once he hit Algebra, he probably said fuck it and quit.
As an engineering student, math is literally how the world works. Math can solve and create any environment.

Yes they are.
Psychology isn't that applicable unless you go into business psychology and get hired by firms. Sociology, is useless unless you're a researcher or a teacher or a social worker.
Accounting and math are much more applicable to the real world than psych, or sociology. Political science helps you learn about government so it's applicable but you can learn that without college.
