The super rich ones maybe. The regular rich ones tend to be stunned when they discover that they are considered rich, and will be footing the bill.

It's kind of a dual metaphor meaning he has always advocated for the rich having a responsibility to the poor. This could manifest itself in many ways. One way this could manifest itself, quite easily, is that more then a few rich liberals, who have grown accustomed to being able to, might lose the ability to upgrade their iPhones every 6 months.

My question is how will they react? Are they as principled as their Facebook posts paint them? Do they really believe in "social justice"? Or when confronted by "feeling the bern" are they going to crumble into the conceited, self obsessed, crybabies that they have proven to be time and again?

They will expect everyone to do it except for themselves. They will explain why the need them, while others just want them. Liberals always make excuses for being money grubbing scumbags, while trying to force a social agenda down the throats of others.

You don't need to be rich to upgrade your phone every 6 months.
