Not sure if I remember correctly, but I think this statistic counts actually every crash no matter how minor. Fatal crashes are dominated by men because we tend to drive more reckless (same goes for life and our lower expectance...) Could all be wrong though not sure.

To answer your question: I guess women tend to be more insecure and get stressed easier? Thus they forget a small detail like looking in the mirror or forgetting that there was an object in their way which they then bump into.

As I said: advantage concerning low stake accidents, disadvantage in regards to fatal crashes.

Generally speaking: no. You cant directly compare an action involving at least one car and one other object to the sovereign nation of Saudi Arabia.
