Are you aware of the fact, that it's morally wrong and in any way unjustly not to have an open border policy? How is it possible, that we hold economic reasons, laws or (often wrong) facts higher than moral commitments? Sure, there mayby can be reasons for a restrictment but such a reason can't be the inability of the West to build up infrastructure. Thats my opinion..i'm open for further discussion

How is it morally wrong to not have a open border policy? Poland just shut off all immigration from Syria in light of the attacks on Paris. Does this act make them immoral - or smart? They're protecting their own people, something I wish more people here honored over political correctness.

Well, if you shut the borders to keep terrorists out you collective punish people seeking for help. I don't know if this can be justified. You send those refugees back in the fucked up horror situation they came from and by doing that, the nation, that closes the border accepts that they probably will be killed. This nation outweighs the lifes of it's citizens over the lifes of the refugees. It's a human rights abuse to not give them the help they need and to not value all human rights equal. It's about human rights and not political correctness.
