When I used to pull all-nighters in the lab I would periodically write really detailed steps for myself on the white-board to carry me through the stupid times I knew were coming.
When I get really tired my legs get antsy, it seems like the exact opposite of what should happen at that point. I can't sit still anymore and I have to keep moving them, it gets annoying and I know there's no more fighting it.. it's time for bed.
For me, it's a bit like being drunk. I don't think clearly, take more risks and just plain do stupid things.
I know it might sound strange but sometimes I like the feeling of being tired and near sleep (especially if it is nice and warm in the room). Background sounds seem to "drone" and my mind is in a different state. If I try to read in that state, I can recognize the letters but the words don't really "register". Also, I can experience effects associated with ASMR with listening to certain sounds when tired. It doesn't work on me when vibrantly awake.
Anybody else feel as if they are drunk/high when sleepy?
If I'd been up all day before the hours between 3-8 am is when I am in the fucking zone when I play video games. Something about the drowsy, half paying attention, staring at the same spot in the screen mentality makes me kick ass.

I start to hallucinate. Visual and auditory.

I need to be up for about 72 hours before that happens to me (and I rarely go that long without sleep these days).

Eh, it's pretty much normal end of day for me.

When I'm extremely tired, I tend to drive really slow. It's like, I don't even have the energy to push the gas pedal.

I start singing my words, like that one episode of Scrubs.

I tend to buy things online that I don't need. That's probably a common thing though.
