Benie Sanders isn't Barack Obama, so it's not as if you can discredit him for Obama's inaction. On the other hand, while Obama may not have met everyone's expectations that he would be a savior from all that is wrong in the Federal Government (Guantanamo is still open, for example, and the NSA still spies on everyone), he has made progress in healthcare, which is huge. Bernie's plan is different - Obama sorta said "elect me and I'll fix it" whereas Bernie says "Electing me is only one step and I can't do anything unless there is popular grass roots support to hold congress accountable to the wishes of we the people" - not an actual quote but paraphrasing my understanding on his position.

There is a point if someone doesnt have your same opinions on the field. The last poll for US moving in the wrong direction was 63%. The point of the election is to change the tone of the country, be it Fiorina, Cruz, Carson et. al.

If a third party would ever win, I'd almost dare to vote for John McAfee. As far as the rest are concerned, I'm genuinely hoping Trump will win. Why?

His victory would highlight what a massive clusterfuck things have become and it's my hope that this alone will spark the revolt that will lead to the change we all seem to want.

I'm aware of Reagan, he was also crook but the general public did not perceive him as a joke. I suppose Trump wouldn't do any better to highlight the obvious than US gov does for itself.
