Honestly, I don't think Voat is different enough for most users to switch and many of the same problems that Reddit has, will also show up here. Okay, so supposedly admins here are better, good, but what about subverses moderators? That's the big problem - moderators still have total control over what you're allowed to say. Voat would have a better chance, if it did away with subverses and moderators, in favor of a more free form structure (not saying that I know, what it could be or how that could work).
