The highest-upvoted news articles on /v/all right now are about a drug-sniffing dog, some educator called racist, and an asshole police officer.

Given the world as a whole, just how fucked up it is, and how much stupid shit related to money has been happening, it's just... disappointing to not see more about it. These are quite significant events, that will have massive repercussions on the global economy, which is basically in its death-throes.

Really, if you watch for the right news, it's quite spectacular to watch. It's like the greatest financial trainwreck in human history, spread out over a small handful of years.

The 'default' news subverse, /v/news, is quite active. Do you view /v/news as being too American-centric or is there a different reason for which /v/Worldnews interests you?

More or less, worldnews has more world news.

Is it like Reddit's worldnews? If so, I'll pass.

They had okay links, but the hivemind that inhabits the place is a tertiary syphilitic. Comments presenting verifiable facts are downvoted out of hand if they disagree with an ultra-liberal view.

It just wasn't worth visiting. I found little discussion backed by a functioning intelligence.
