I'll take Joshua Graham (Fallout: New Vegas, Honest Hearts), and replace him with Eli (Book of Eli).

The Book of Eli is affected because the last Bible (in Braille) is being protected by someone who cannot read it, and Joshua Graham most likely kills Carnegie unlike Eli.

Honest Hearts would be different as there was never a burned man, but rather a wise blind man who helps the tribals of Zion. Eli could go either way with the two choices/endings in Honest Hearts, and he likely would not go to execute Salt-Upon Wounds if he decided to wipe out the White Legs.

In short, Joshua kills those who make the Earth horrible, but he himself cannot read the last Bible and has to actually protect it until he Finds someone who reads Braille, while Eli follows God's will and solves the problem in Honest Hearts either Joshua or Daniel's way.
