Because that would be intruding too much into the sub. It doesn't take Jack Schitt to unsubscribe.

Would it be intruding?
Specifically accounts that were automatically subscribed to the sub. This free boost is at the heart of being a default sub. It was not the user or the mod's choice to subscribe. Atko would be taking away what he gave.It wouldn't take Jack Schitt to re-subscribe either.

Voat doesn't work like reddit that way. You aren't automatically subscribed to any sub. The default subs are just what you see before you subscribe to any subs. As soon as you subscribe to any subs then you only see posts from the ones you're subscribed to unless you go to /v/all.

Absofuckinglutely yes. I for one wouldn't like a social network where the admins abuse their power by deciding what I should be subscribed to by unsubscribing me. If people don't want to follow a sub, it's up to them to decide to unsubscribe.
It would take infinitely more effort to re-subscribe, considering that the effort for not having to is exactly zero.
