Good. This means AskVoat will not show on /v/all so it can die in peace.

If you're looking for replacements, try out /v/askgoat or /v/askvoat2

I like /v/why. Simple and straightforward.

And yet FPH still shows up regularly in /v/all.

Something wrong about that.

FPH removed the restriction when they replaced their top mod a few weeks ago.

Edit: FPH Mod change

2 hours later... FPH CCP = 0 thread

Being able to voat is the cornerstone of the user experience. By raising the bar as high as you have, you are in effect limiting user's ability to participate fully. Upvoating and downvoating are one important way people express themselves. Your actions are designed to curb speech that you disagree with. This seems at odds with the ethos of Voat. If you believe there is a problem with brigading then the sensible approach would be to raise it to the admins and ask them to institute site - wide policies. What you are doing is nothing more than attempting to protect /u/she from criticism. Personally, I don't think either of you have acted in accordance to the needs of either Voat or this sub.

You nailed it. She is back now. Let's see how quickly they remove the 500 rule.

Well, you are getting up brigaded

Except that 40 posts from innocent users of our community each got 3-6 downvotes from brigaders. Also many comments got hit.

So are you justifying this restrictive policy because a handful of posts (out of literally hundreds, if not thousands) received 3-6 downvotes? That is hardly a persuasive argument. And weren't you actively encouraging people to block upvote /u/she's posts? Is this not also an example of "brigading?"

It is pretty clear that you and /u/she have and are continuing to abuse your moderator status. You endorsed her to take ownership of the sub, despite the fact that **she had only 2 months on the site ****and a large number of users vocally took issue with her behavior. The way that you two have modded the sub upset @atko enough that he stripped it as a default. Now that /u/she has taken ownership, the two of you are going to great lengths to keep users from being able to downvoat because you don't want dissent. If either one of you was truly interested in the good of Voat or AskVoat, you'd offer to just step aside. Neither of you has shown any leadership ability, nor have you earned the respect of the community. /u/She has actively baited and trolled her critics and you have both encouraged brigading and moved to silence dissent. Those actions should disqualify both of you from retaining mod status, and it would show some character if you'd both just resign for the good of the entire site. But I'm guessing that you like your power and status far too much to seriously consider that.

Between them and /v/protectvoat, there's a lot of brigading going on right now.

May I interest you both to /v/askgoat?

We're trying to keep things light over there in spite of all the drama.

Awesome! This won't lead to any problems in the slightest. I'm sure it won't make even more users downvoat @she /u/she at all.

Once you become concerned about imaginary internet points you are a lost cause. It's the killer of free thought.

LOL upvote brigade not working out as well as you thought? ;)

Kidding aside I think this is a good idea. In fact I think a higher threshhold required for downvoting might be needed sitewide as a rule.

edit- I take that back. I was not aware of the CCP / 2 rule.

It's pretty bad when you effectively have to brigade your own sub to keep mod posts positive.

Plus, now we can all be right cunts because the odds of downvotes just diminished considerably :-P

This thread should be deleted for missing a question mark.

If it is not deleted, you are falling afoul of your own rules, and should demod yourself immediately.

If you do not demod yourself for falling afoul of your own rules, you are guilty of corruption, and should be externally demodded.

I'm so happy I have enough CCP to downvote this retarded idea.
