Being a mod sucks when you do it right. It's a thankless job. Taking care of crap that belligerent users like to throw, attacking others, threats of violence, plus removing illegal or inappropriate content. Not only that, but these users trend towards more confrontational, meaning death threats, among with the lovely messages of go kill yourself and the like.

But, if you're a mod of something that affects 100,000 people, it gives you a sense a power because your actions can directly affect that many people. Once you realize you have the ability to change the conversation it can be tempting to do so. Thankfully, you have users that keep mods accountable and catch when they do try to change the conversation, along with other power abuses. If anything it should motivate/scare/force you into doing your job well, as every action is now scrutinized by that many people.

@She has been trying to get away with it without the consequences, which is a mistake. Suffice it to say, she will be removed at some point and if she's not then it's going to be more of a shitshow than it already is and people will get scary because that's an unfortunate part of being anonymous on the internet.
