Archived Why do blind people sound like they're blind? (AskVoat)
submitted 5.3 years ago by Galaldriel
I was listening to an interview on the radio and I could tell the guest was blind before they even made mention of that fact.
I have absolutely nothing against blind people but I found it interesting that I could tell by the conversation that the person was blind. Anyone else experience that or know why that is?

My guess is because they can't hear how their voice sounds so they can adjust tones and such.
Edit: I'm a moron but I'm leaving it.

Perhaps you read it wrong; he means blind, not deaf.

You are definitely correct, I didn't read that properly.
