Standard shower heads in the United States use 2.5 gallons of water per minute, so you'd use around 450-600 gallons (~1,700-2,300 liters) of water if you left the shower on that long. Why would you do that, though?

Thanks. I use the shower to drown out background noise (ambulance sirens, car alarms) when I am reading or watching videos on my ipad.
