This is hardly fare as most new people can not yet down vote

Edit: I do not mean that the restriction on downvoating is not needed but upvoting or downvoting to signify agreement / disagreement will not be representative as many people can only voat one way

Also because downvotes will have the side effect of giving the poll less exposure, whereas upvotes increase it. Nice democratic voting system.

I don't want you to take this poorly, but people who haven't been part of the community long enough to have 100 CCP don't really have a place voting anyway.

Yes but they can still up vote As a side note, I was mostly a lurker I can say that I spent 2 year on reddit and had less then 100 comment karma at the end.

The restriction on downvoating is there for reasons which I support at this time. If you had a point to make regarding what we are actually discussing, or if your account was more than one day old, I would have been willing to downvoat my own post on your behalf.
