I don't like her viewpoints at all, in fact I find them horribly annoying. Can anyone actually give examples of censorship though? I know dissenting threads have been removed but only those breaking a rule right?

As much as people are screaming and saying look at how much stupid (in our eyes) shit she says, is that really a reason for someone to step down? I don't really care either way and honestly would just prefer her to leave but it should be for the right reasons imo.

Edit: I'm fine with being wrong can someone give me an example instead of downvoating?

See for yourself https://voat.co/v/askvoat/modlog/deleted

Her viewpoints on their own don't bother me, but she's only been here two months and is already trying to take control of one of the biggest subverses https://voat.co/v/subverserequest/comments/330770 Combine the new user power grabbing and certain ideologies and it looks a lot like the cabal that took over reddit.

I'm conflicted because I hate everything SJW but it feels like we are stooping to their level by acting out of emotion. I have no doubts it would be the best thing for her to resign but forcing people out of modship when they aren't really censoring is a scary precedent that's all. This whole situation sucks.

I see nothing there that could be censorship. She's removing posts that call to block the sub, and other non-questions.

Are you trying to impose guilt b association? I have seen very many people trying to suggest She must be guilty of something because of her strict enforcement of the stupid no question mark rule, and because of her views.

That's bollocks.

A rule is a rule, and moderators are supposed to enforce them. Of course, now Atko has decided they can bend them, so it's a different story. But at the time, that was the way it was. And as for her views? So what if they look like the supposed cabal that took over Reddit? That doesn't mean anything. A lot of Muslims share a few of the views of the people who blow themselves up, do you get paranoid about them too?

As far as I've seen, the claims that She's moderation is corrupt are just complaints about being to the very letter about the rules, and witchhunting her because her views are "too SJW".

Once again, you get downvoted because someone disagreed with you... sigh.

Anyways, I feel the same. This just feels like the community knowing it has the power and needs to abuse it to remove people. How about we have an actual discussion, where we can ask about changing her behaviour in a way that satisfies the community?

She seems to care about the sub, so I think that sounds reasonable.

I agree. Voat has gotten to the size where it's harder to have genuine discussions it seems. In the end the decision rests on Atko and Puttitout. I'm sure theyve seen both sides of this so we will see what happens.
