I've just today suggested a moderator voting system once a sub hits 5k users. That eliminates their ability to control any subs they want by brigading and using the request method and protects the users of large subs from being caught in their nonsensical bias'.

You do realize that if you don't like the way a sub is being run you can start your own, right?

And you can run for office! Or start a less funded videostore across the street. Yes, your ideals and quality is better. But noone even knows you're there or who you are.

Ultimately once a sub reaches a certain size I think it belongs to the users as much as the mods. I like the idea of a vote system in place after a sub gets so big.
