One thing to be mindful of is the fact that manufacturers discontinue parts after a number of years, and at 15+ yrs. it could become an issue in the future, particularly if it's an oddball make/model. Also many dealerships have cutoff ages on vehicles they will work on, so if you are planning on using a dealership for maintenance, be sure they will work on older cars before buying, or know of a repair shop that can work on your ride.
