Yeah. I’m young, I’m intelligent, I’ll make it. It’s the night time thinking that gets me. When things are better hopefully I’ll laugh at these times. They’re not funny now though.

Think about the future. Think about what you want. Plan this out, taking into account past failures and what you have learned. Playing games in God mode is no fun as there is no room for improvement, life is the same thing.
I know what you mean: night time is when your brain starts to relax and your thoughts become freer. In some sense those are your true thoughts that just get pushed out during the day. If they keep happening it means there is still something you are trying to figure out. Embrace them! But fully, as in try to figure out exactly what is thing that is bothering you. Maybe it comes down to a single conversation or words said. Decide to never let yourself do that again. That decision and self ownership is what turns it from regret into change.
tire yourself during the day and stay up late on the PC (preferably Voat) so that when you hit the sack you'll fall straight asleep only to be tormented by dreams which is to say...you can't win. You are now a tortured being and only falling in love will set you free.

Regret is not about the past; it is there to prevent mistakes in the future. The past is over, the future is heading right for you.
